Yesterday marked the first Red Bull sponsored King of the Air event in a long time. Seven years ago, the event took place on the glorious beaches of Maui. Now, held in Cape Town, the King of the Air saw crowds galore, with over 5,000 spectators gawking over the mega loops, huge jumps and general propulsion through the sky. Liquid Force team rider Nick Jacobsen managed to cinch 2nd place, following Jesse Richman in 1st. Sam Light took 3rd.
