The White Air extreme sports festival has been based on the Isle of Wight for years but this year it Moved to the busteling city of Brighton and took a massive leap in size encompasing over 40 extreme sports shows and "have a go" backed by some of the countries best music on the main stage.
With Promises of 10's of thousands of spectators Kiteworld magazine teamed up with white air to sponsor the UK's first ever invertational slider event!
Chris Burke along with fellow riders Tom Court and stu Munns were enlisted to run it and make it happen so went about contructing a feature to handle the pottentially rough Brighton sea conditions!
as the event came together kiteworld invited 8 of the worlds best riders including Liquid Force rider Chris Burke to compete over the 3 days.
As the event started the unseasonal warm meant weather brought a lack of wind which meant sadly riders could kite, instead the event continued with riders towing in behind a jet ski.
With riders putting on an awesome show of air and rail tricks for the growing crowds the vibe was amazing for the first event of its kind in the UK.
Riders then voted on Sunday for who they though tperformed the best:
1st Sam Light
2nd Tom Court
3rd Chris Burke
