The Triple S has been an amazing event thus far. The vibe and the atomosphere here is like none other. The feeling I get riding here just like going out for a session with your closest buddies. Only this time your 20 closest buddies are the best in the world at rails, freestyle, and kickers. Its amazing to see everyone riding so hard, all day (and night), when there is nothing to indicate a start or stop in the event. Yesterday's "Freeride" session that was scheduled for 2 hours, ended up lasting till sundown. That just shows how hard everyone is pushing each other right now.
Yesterday while most riders were hitting the new huge John Wayne Foundation slider, I watched Denver Coon and Billy Parker going head to head at the kicker, both attempting to be the first to land a frontside 7. In the process they produced some of the cleanest 5's of the day. Another one kiling it was Petter Johnson, he already earn his spot with to top crew of the event. I had my share of fun hit with Slezy on the a frame as well. OFcouse we have to give props for the usual suspects, Dre, Jake, Dylan, Aaron, Ruben... Everyone were just having the time of thier life!
All in all, Real Kiteboarding has put together one of the finest events I have ever seen. There is no shortage of love for the riders and just good old fun times for all. Real has created, in my opinion THE premier event which is already taking kiteboarding to the next level, that no rider will ever want to miss.
