Last week, I spent one week skiing in a village called Les Contamines, close to Chamonix, in the French Alps. I had not been skiing in a really long time, and this year's snow had been really incredible, so Antoine Jaubert and I decided to go spend a week in France. We got really lucky with fresh snow the first days, nice weather afterwards, nobody on the mountain, and some good freeriding session. We hired a guide to go on our freeride sessions, because so late in the seaon, the risk of avalanches was high. The temperatures were actually warmer there, that what they are getting in Leucate at the moment!
