Four team riders were representing Liquid Force at the 4th stop of the PKRA World Tour from July 12th to 21st, in Sankt Peter-Ording, Germany.
Christophe Tack, Oliver Umpierre, Nico Suriel and Manuela Jungo were in Germany to be part of this year’s more important PKRA event!
More then 80 riders from 24 countries were there to fight for the freestyle title. Only 24 riders could compete in the main event, 8 pre-qualified from the ranking, 2 wildcards and 14 spots to fight for in the trials.
Christophe Tack was pre-qualified since he’s rank 4th in this year’s PKRA ranking. Oliver and Nico had to fight for a spot in the hardest trials in the history of the PKRA! Both gave their best on the water and made it to the main event after 5 hard heats against big names like Onieva, Garat, Schitzhoffer, Neto and many more.
Nico had a good competition winning heats against really good riders such as Corniel. He got stopped by the current winner of the tour Alex Pastor and he ended in 13th place!
Oliver had a really good start in the single winning against brazilian Madson and Romeu (current 5th PKRA ranking). With these results Oliver saved his TOP 10 position in place with his 9th place! The next heat to make it to 4th place was against Rondina, who advanced by 2 points.
Manuela is currently in 5th place at the PKRA ranking.

It started so good, I made it straight into the main event and I had a strong opponent the first round of the single elimination, I landed my 5 tricks and had the highest Points of the whole first Round. I was very positive and even after 4 days of waiting because we had no wind. The quarter final started and nothing worked for me, I crashed tricks I should land easy and same happened in the double elimination which were on the same day, because it was the only day with wind. I had a really bad day. I got 9th at the End, my worse result since one and a half years. I am back home now and try to forget this event to make it better in Fuerteventura next week.
Tack was on fire! He won 6 heats in a raw in the double elimination making it to the PODIUM with a 3rd place! Young talent Tack is getting better and better, that was his second podium of the year and he’s going for the title at the next event!
Thumbs up to the four of you and a huge congratulations to Christophe Tack!
They will be in Fuerteventura, Spain, next week to compete again in the next stop. Wish them luck!
