Response Control System “technical service bulletin”

Response Lower Unit Removal

Liquid Force kiteboarding is issuing a Technical Service Bulletin on the 2015 product: Response Control System (part number 2158089).

Liquid Force has been notified of isolated occurrences of the chicken loop release sticking upon activation. No injuries have been reported, but with safety and the highest quality gear being Liquid Force’s #1 focus, we will be replacing all chicken loop lower assemblies free of charge.

The units we are replacing were manufactured and distributed between December 1st 2014 and February 28th 2015.

Liquid Force Kiteboarding advises all consumers to immediately stop using the affected units and contact Liquid Force via the support online form or a Liquid Force authorized retailer for the replacement parts.  Retailers and distributors should stop all sales and shipments until the chicken loop release has been replaced.

A Technical Service Representative can also be reached at 541-436-4436.

We have notified the US Consumer Product Safety Commission of our action and will work with them as necessary.
